Dinner and Dance in Madrid: what it means and how a night at Panthera works
Dining and dancing without changing venue. What Dinner and Dance means, how the night unfolds at Panthera and what to order so it all flows.
Published 27 June 2026 · Panthera Madrid
Dinner and Dance is a format where you eat and dance in the same place without moving on: dinner starts early, the music and performances build, and by the end the room becomes a dance floor. At Panthera, Calle Miguel Ángel 21, dinner begins at 8pm and midnight brings Party up, with the tables turned into private celebration zones.
Why dine and dance in one place
A classic night out in Madrid has three stops: dinner at a restaurant, drinks at a bar and a club somewhere else. It works, but it has its costs: taxis, groups that split up on the way, queues and the feeling of starting from scratch at every door. Dinner and Dance puts all three at one table.
- The table is yours all night. The one you book for dinner is the one that becomes your celebration zone at midnight.
- The group stays together. Nobody gets lost between the restaurant and the club.
- The energy rises naturally. There is no abrupt break between dinner and party; the music sets the pace.
What if I only want dinner?
That works too. Nobody has to stay for the party: you can have dinner, enjoy the atmosphere and the show, and leave whenever you like. If you want a slightly calmer meal, book the first slot at 8pm, when the music is still in the background rather than in charge. And if you change your mind, the table is still yours at midnight.
How a night at Panthera works
- 8pm, dinner. Raw dishes, nigiri and chargrilled plates with Nikkei, Mediterranean and Latin influences. Signature cocktails from the very start. On Sundays doors open at 8.30pm.
- The show. Live DJs and short performances run alongside dinner and build in intensity until the DJ takes over.
- Midnight, Party up. The tables become private celebration zones. Welcome to the Bottle Club.
- Until closing. 2.30am Wednesday and Thursday, 3am Friday and Saturday, and 3.30am on Sundays.
The look matches the mood: black panthers, low lighting and an international crowd. Hostelpro magazine has described the room as a tropical jungle with 1980s glamour, complete with black panther sculptures and images of Grace Jones, and calls it a fixture of Madrid nightlife for more than eight years.
The point is that the night has an arc. You are not rushing dinner to get somewhere else, or standing around waiting for the music to start. You arrive, eat at your own pace, the atmosphere shifts around you and, before you notice, your table is part of the party. That is why an early booking pays off: arrive at 8pm or 9pm and you get the whole transition.
