Why a big group works well at Panthera

Organising dinner for fifteen or twenty people usually comes with two headaches. The first is getting everyone seated together. The second arrives with dessert: deciding where to go next, paying another entry and losing half the group on the way. At Panthera the second one simply goes away.

It is a Dinner and Dance restaurant. You eat with live DJs and performances, and at midnight the tables turn into private celebration areas, the format we call Bottle Club. The group stays put, at its own table, and the night carries on by itself.

The food helps too when the table has very different tastes. The menu is international, with Nikkei, Mediterranean and Latin influences: raw dishes and nigiri for anyone who wants something light, chargrilled mains for the meat lovers and plates made for sharing in the middle. What to send when you ask for a group menu

From 10 guests we work with a personalised menu. Our events page mentions gatherings of friends, business dinners and family get-togethers, and each one needs something different. We do not publish a fixed group price because it depends on the menu, the day and the head count. The quickest route is to send everything up front:

• Date and rough arrival time. We open at 20:00 Wednesday to Saturday and at 20:30 on Sunday.
• Number of guests, even if it is only an estimate.
• The occasion: birthday, hen or stag do, company dinner, family gathering.
• Any allergies or intolerances. We have an allergen menu.
• Whether you want to stay on when the room switches to club mode at midnight.
• A rough budget per head, if you already have one.
• Whether you need an invoice in a company name.

Every group wants something different. For a birthday, it is the toast and being able to stay and dance. For a business dinner, it is being able to talk over dinner and getting a clear bill. For a family gathering, it is dishes for every age and simple options for anyone who would rather skip raw fish, such as the aged ribeye smash burger or the chargrilled entrecôte. Opening hours worth knowing

One thing few groups realise: Sunday is the night we close latest. If the birthday falls on a Sunday or Monday is a bank holiday, it is a good night to get everyone together without the Saturday rush.
