Christmas company dinner in Madrid: when to book and how to organise it
A timeline for booking in good time, what to include in your request and what a Christmas company dinner looks like in Panthera's Dinner and Dance format.
Published 17 August 2026 · Panthera Madrid
For a Christmas company dinner in Madrid, the key is booking early: in October or November, before the best December dates fill up. At Panthera in Chamberí, you request it from the events team (eventos@galeriaserrano.com) with the date and headcount; from 10 guests they prepare a personalised menu, with the nightly DJ and performances setting the mood.
When to book the Christmas dinner
In December, the Thursdays and Fridays before the holidays are the dates every company wants at once, at Panthera and at any restaurant in Madrid. Book in November and you often choose from what is left; book in October and you get to choose. Here is a sensible timeline:
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| September and October | Decide on a date (plus a back-up), budget per person and approximate headcount. Request a proposal |
| October and November | Confirm the booking with the events team |
| November | Finalise the menu, collect the team's allergies and diets and settle the final numbers |
| December | Enjoy it. The day before, confirm the final guest list |
Keep Panthera's usual hours in mind when picking a date: it opens Wednesday to Sunday and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Remember too that Panthera opens in the evening, from 8pm, so its format is dinner.
There is another reason to plan ahead: the sooner you have a date, the sooner you can tell the team. A Christmas dinner announced weeks in advance gets better attendance than one called at the last minute, and the final headcount you give the restaurant will be more reliable.
How to request a proposal
You can email eventos@galeriaserrano.com or use the form on the events page. The events team will send you a proposal. The more detail you give up front, the better it will fit:
- Preferred date and a back-up.
- Approximate headcount.
- A rough budget per person.
- Allergies, intolerances or diets in the team.
- Whether you want to stay for the midnight party.
- Any special moment: a toast, a speech, an awards slot.

Request a group proposalWhat a Christmas dinner at Panthera involves
We do not publish a fixed Christmas menu or set prices: every proposal is made to measure. What does define the experience is the house Dinner and Dance format:
- A personalised menu drawn from the menu, with Nikkei, Mediterranean and Latin influences: raw dishes, nigiri, grill and desserts to share.
- Cocktails for the toast. The royal cocktails are made with Veuve Clicquot champagne: Bellini Panthera, Kir Royal or La Panthera Mimosa.
- Live DJ and performances during dinner, building in intensity.
- Party up at midnight. The tables become private celebration zones and the team can stay until closing.

A practical tip: if there will be toasts or small gifts, do them before dessert. Later on the music rises and the night changes pace. There is more on this format in company dinner with a party.
Ideas for a different kind of Christmas dinner
- Secret Santa before dessert. It is the best moment: everyone is seated and can still hear each other.
- A champagne toast. A round of royal cocktails to close the year marks the move from dinner to party.
- Short recognitions. If you want to celebrate the team, keep it to a few minutes and before midnight.
- Party up as the year's finale. At midnight the team's table becomes a celebration zone, a natural end to the evening.
- Freedom to leave. Make it clear that the party is optional. Nobody feels obliged, and those who stay really want to.
