Dinner show in Madrid: where to go and what to expect

Flamenco tablaos, big productions and restaurants where the show runs alongside dinner and ends on the dance floor. An honest guide to dinner shows in Madrid.

Published 4 June 2026 · Panthera Madrid

If you are looking for a dinner show in Madrid, there are three broad options: a flamenco tablao, a big-stage production, or a restaurant where performers and a DJ play alongside dinner until the room turns into a dance floor. Panthera, at Calle Miguel Ángel 21 in Chamberí, is the third kind: dinner from 8pm, live DJs and performances through the evening, and the party starts at midnight.

It is not just us saying it. On 22 January 2026, Time Out published its list of the best dinner-show restaurants in Madrid and included Panthera alongside places such as Jimmy's, Despecho, Pabblo, La Tapadera & Marabú, WAH, SLVJ, Bloom and Space of Sound. A good sign that the format is thriving and that there is plenty to choose from.

What counts as a dinner show

The label covers very different evenings. Before you book, it helps to decide what kind of night you want: sitting down to watch a show with a clear start and finish, or eating with music and performers around you and carrying on in the same place.

  • Flamenco tablao. Dinner plus a show of singing, guitar and dance. The classic option and the one most visitors look for.
  • Big-stage production. A stage, a scripted show and a fixed running time, often three or four hours with dinner included.
  • Restaurant club, or Dinner and Dance. No fixed stage: DJs and short performances run alongside dinner, the energy builds and the night ends on the dance floor.

Panthera: dinner, show and dance floor under one roof

Panthera is a Dinner and Dance restaurant in Chamberí, in the area Time Out places in Almagro. Black panthers, low lighting and an international crowd set the mood. The menu is international with Nikkei, Mediterranean and Latin influences: raw dishes, nigiri, rolls and chargrilled plates made for sharing.

The show is not a one-off act. Short performances run through dinner and build in intensity until the DJ takes over. At midnight comes what we call Party up: the tables become private celebration zones and the Bottle Club begins.

How to choose your dinner show

  • If you want flamenco, a tablao is the answer. Corral de la Morería is the benchmark if you also want fine dining.
  • If you want to watch a production, pick a stage format with a set finishing time, such as WAH or Florida Park.
  • If you want to keep the night going without moving, look for a restaurant club: Panthera and Pabblo both fit that idea, each in its own style.
  • If you are a group, ask about set menus. At Panthera, from 10 guests the events team prepares a personalised menu.
  • Check the day. Panthera opens Wednesday to Sunday and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

If dining and dancing in one place sounds right, what Dinner and Dance means walks you through a full night at Panthera. And what's on shows what happens each night of the week.
