For a midweek after-work in Madrid, Panthera opens on Wednesday and Thursday at 20:00 with signature cocktails, dinner and a DJ, until 02:30.

Why Wednesday and Thursday

Friday is when everyone goes out and everywhere is packed. Wednesday and Thursday feel different: the team has not fully switched off yet, but there is appetite to celebrate something, wrap up a project or just change scenery. It is the perfect moment for drinks with colleagues, dinner with clients or catching up with friends you never see at weekends.

And with work the next day, the plan needs to be simple: a couple of cocktails, something to nibble and the option to stay if you feel like it. Since Panthera closes at 02:30 on those nights, there is room for a quick drink or a long night.

Panthera midweek

On Wednesday and Thursday we open from 20:00 to 02:30 at Miguel Ángel 21 in Chamberí. Arriving at eight gives you the best of the evening: a calm room, music in the background and time for a couple of cocktails before dinner.

• Signature cocktails and classics, from the New collection to the Royal cocktails with Veuve Clicquot.
• To start: La Paloma by Patrón, Welcome to the Jungle (rum, passion fruit, mango, coconut and lemon) or the Margarita Nikkei with yuzu and tajín.
• To nibble: tableside guacamole, crispy prawn gyozas or prawn tempura with kimchi mayo.
• If the evening runs on: a full dinner from the Nikkei, Mediterranean and Latin menu, and at midnight the tables switch to celebration mode.

Panthera is at Miguel Ángel 21, near Gregorio Marañón metro station, so it is easy to reach straight from the office. For drinks with clients, opening time is best: the room is calmer and you can talk. If the meeting turns into dinner, the menu makes it easy to order for the middle of the table.
